Where is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park located?

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, U.S, is a park with 3,500 plant species and 130 natural species of trees. There are also many endangered animals including a variety of salamanders.

As the park stayed relatively untouched by humans, the temperate flora in the park is examples of the plant world before the arrival of humans.

Some of the highest mountain ranges in North America such as Clingmans Dome and Mount Le Conte are part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Among the waterfalls in the Park, the larger ones such as Grotto, Laurel, Rainbow and Minto are popular tourist destinations. The park was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
