Did you know which are the best places in your house for growing plants?

Things needed:

A dozen cups filled with garden soil. A handful of seeds (mustard, fenugreek, green gram)

What to do:

Soak the seeds in water for 12 hours. Fill cups with earth, leaving half-an-inch space at the top. See that the soil is loose, crumbly and moist. Plant the same type of seed in each one of the cups. After this, place those cups all over your house. Put some near windows. Put one in a closet. Put one in the bathroom. Try to pick spots that are very different from one another. When the plants sprout and grow, measure their height at the same time every day and note it down under the headings spot, date, time, height. Take pictures.

Results:

At the end of two weeks, you will have evidence to show which spots are best for plants. Record: Prepare a file on your observations.
