LifeLogger wearable camera spots faces, speech & text

LifeLogger is a tiny camera (9 gms) that records 720p HD video as well as stills and has face, text, and audio recognition. Its built-in GPS lets you see where you were during each moment of the video. It slots onto a black plastic band which runs around the back of the head, and keeps it in place against the side of your face. Video is stored on a removable cartridge which also houses a high capacity battery. In persistent record mode it will last roughly for 2 hours. All recorded information is uploaded to Lifelogger’s cloud services for further processing. You can then share your memories with family and friends by connecting to all major social sites.

The footage you shoot is automatically backed up to the cloud, where you can search for memories on a 3D timeline organized by date. Images are corrected for face detection and image stabilization. Plus, your GPS position on a map is stored in the metadata, so you can remember exactly where you were. Those who sign up through Kickstarter now will get 3 months of up to 25GB of cloud storage as part of the deal. There’s no information on the site about what that will cost you after 3 months.
