World’s Smallest Camera gives big snappers the finger

Get your hands (or fingertips) on the world’s smallest digital camera by Hammacher. Reminiscent of devices used by spies for intelligence gathering, the camera’s one-button operation provides easy picture taking. It weighs only half an ounce and takes 2MP photos with auto focus. It can also capture 30fps video at 640×480 resolution. Images and videos are saved to an included 2GB micro SD card (supports up to 32 GB cards) and you can view them on your computer with the USB cable. Rechargeable battery provides Mp to 30 minutes of operation from one-hour charge via USB.

Smartphone cameras may well top such spec these days, and with some of the kit doctors use, there are certainly smaller snappers out there. However, any working camera with the look of a DSLR that could fit inside a Kinder egg is worth noting.

So if you fancy adding one to your dollhouse of miniature machinery, the World’s Smallest Camera is available for $100 (£64) at Hammacher Schlemmer.
