What is Pocket App?

Here’s an app that lets you line up articles, images and video to be taken in when you’ve got a spare moment. You can check out your media list either online or offline. Add content while browsing on your desktop or e-mail content to your account or use one of the 300+ supported apps (e.g. Twitter, etc.) to do so. It’s like browsing a media-rich digital magazine with the benefit of having chosen all the content yourself.

The Android app lets you add tags and keep track of what you’ve read while the search bar makes it easy to find items by tag, title, or even URL. You can also share any item from Pocket to your device’s other apps.

The app syncs across all your devices – phone, tablet or computer and allows caching for offline access and saving to SD card. Its ‘Send to Friend’ option lets you pass content directly to friends along with a comment and highlighted quote from the article being shared. It’s also available for iOS, Kindle Fire, Windows Mobile or Blackberry. Download for free from Google.
