I had a best friend about 5 years ago but she shifted to Mumbai. Two years ago I made another BFF. She is a great friend of mine, we share secrets and trust each other. Now the girl who was my best friend before has joined the school again. My BFF is getting possessive about this and is often rude when I tell her about myself and my last best friend. I am confused. I want to tell my BFF that she is my only best friend and there is nothing to be possessive about. Please help!
Dear girl, the only help you need is the encouragement to speak the truth to your first best friend and the nature of your relationship with the second best friend. Tell her that friendship need not be exclusive and that the three of you can be good friends. If she continues being “rude” and “possessive” it is better for you to stop relating to her.
