My best friend and my boyfriend

I am a 14-year-old girl in a relationship with a boy for the past two years. Everything was cool with us but one day we broke up. His best friend supported me and we became best friends. Everyone says he had a crush on me; I think the same. After some time I learned that my best friend and boyfriend had a fight and the reason was that my best friend became too close to me which made my ex-boyfriend jealous. I stopped talking to my best friend in class but we used to talk on the phone. Now the situation has changed; I am again in a relationship with that guy and he has restricted me from talking to our best friend. He also considers him as his ex-best friend and the reason was just me. Now I have my boyfriend but I want my best friend back in my life. My boyfriend will never allow me to be friends with him. What should I do?

Dear CJ, your letter clearly shows how deeply confused you are about relationships: you seem to be jumping rapidly from one crush to another, from one infatuation to another. In the process, you are creating problems to yourself and to others. At the tender and beautiful age of 14 there are many other things that should attract your attention, for example, your family relationships and your education; your good physical and mental health also need time and care. Last but not least, cultivate your relationship with God, who will help your spiritual and emotional growth.
