I study in Std VIII. There is a boy in my class who is very intelligent, smart and very helpful too. He always takes mine and my friends’ sides and tells me whatever I ask. I do not know whether I love him but some kind of feeling arises in me when I see him. Some boys in my class think that I love him. I even feel shy to talk to him. Should I tell him about my feelings? Or should I ask him to just be my friend
The “kind of feeling” you have when you see that boy is proof that your emotional awakening to the reality of belonging to the female sex has begun. Do not worry about that, because it is a beautiful gift from God. Yet, as this is still an unknown area of your life and you lack experience, I advise you not to tell him anything about your confused “feelings”. This could spoil your relationship with him. Just enjoy being a good friend to him. He is already a good friend to you; in fact “he always takes mine and my friends’ sides and tells me whatever I ask”. A nice boy indeed.
