I think i won’t be able to make it

I have always been an Honours student, scoring above 90% in class 10, but things have been messy in class 11. I studied a lot for my exams but my percentage has gone down. I am a science student and my performance was very bad in the last exam. I got scolded for my numbers and I know I deserved that. But I think I am lacking the confidence to make it right again, to show my family my capabilities and to pay them back by my good numbers. I love my family and care for them a lot but I think I won’t be able to do it. I think I am a failure now and will never reach that “Honour Student” mark. Seeing my performance in class 11, I am worried about my boards. What do I do?

Hi dear , instead of facing with courage and determination your responsibility as a member of your family and as a student, you seem to be going through life passively without self-confidence. Every change for the better in life begins from looking into ourselves; finding out what went wrong, training our will for hard work and commitment. Success or failure in life does not depend mainly on high academic achievements but on the capacity to develop a balanced and well-integrated personality. If your parents or teachers complain about your results and behaviour you should take their remarks seriously and correct yourself under their guidance.
