What makes the Araku Valley one of a kind?

               Araku Valley popularly known as Araku is a scenic hill station in the Vishakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. The hill station has retained its pristine charm. At an elevation of about 975 metres, Araku is famous for its coffee plantations surrounded by beautiful gardens. Streams waterfalls and valleys that are covered with lush green forests. Being a mountainous region, trekking is a popular activity, and the area offers several interesting trails.

               Araku is located in the Eastern Ghats, and is inhabited by different tribes. The Araku Valley can be reached by a road that goes through thick forests which is an adventure in itself. More than 40 tunnels and a number of bridges on the way welcome the tourists warmly. The ascent up to the hill is gradual, providing views of waterfalls, orchards, gardens and forests enhancing the immense and incomparable beauties of this valley.

               Other major attractions are the Tyda Park, Borra Caves, Ananthagiri, Gosthani River, Tribal Museum, coffee plantations, Katiki Waterfalls, and the Chaparai Waterfalls.
