From the servant there, she heard the story of the garden that was locked ten years ago by her uncle after his wife’s death; Mary determines to find the key. In the end, Mary brings the garden back to life.

               ‘The Secret Garden’ is a children’s novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett first published in 1911, after it was serialized in an American magazine in 1910.
