What is the Google Glass?

Google Glass is a wearable, voice-controlled android device that resembles a pair of eyeglasses and displays information directly in the user’s field of vision. Google Glass is designed in 2011. The first in a new wave of “wearable computers,” Google Glass combines a tiny computer with a pair of glasses and works like a smartphone for your eyeballs. The eyepiece displays all sorts of handy data – from text messages to directions (although Google Glass users run the risk of stumbling into traffic as they browse their email). Critics complain that the device’s built-in camera represents an invasion of privacy.
