How is the caribou distinct from other deer?

The caibou is a cervid found in the northern regions of North America, Europe, Asia, and Greenland. They have a special feature- unlike other cervids, this species has antlers on both the male and the female, though not all females have well-grown antlers.

Caribous live in herds. When summer comes, they migrate to the north. The caribou migration is one of the greatest large-animal migrations. During their journey, they travel about 5000 kilometres through routes they travel every year. At the end of their migration, they reach the tundra regions, where there is abundant growth of grass and plants. It is said that an adult caribou eats about six kilograms of each day in these uplands.

Pudu is a solitary animal. It is so secretive that zoologists still do not have much information about its behavioural features. These animals are commonly found in South America. The northern pudu is found in the northern Andes of Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Both the northern pudu and the southern pudu have been declared endangered species.
