The Slate Repaper is a clever tablet that digitizes paper drawings

The Slate is a screenless writing board to which you can attach regular paper and draw using the pen or pencil of your choice. All you have to do is slide a magnetic ring on your drawing instrument and start drawing, the ring will communicate with the board and record what you're doing digitally.

The board connects to your tablet or phone using the Imagink app. When you're finished with your notes or drawing, you can export the finished page from the Imagink app in a number of standard file formats.

The Slate's two favourable features : of using any type of paper (or even a notebook) and the pen of your choice sets it apart from competing technologies that require you to using compatible pens or notebooks.

Hover Camera covers every selfie angle

For those keen on taking the perfect selfie from the right angle, the solution could be a new drone called the Hover Camera that flies around you to capture footage. Users will be able to gently toss the drone in the direction they wish it to travel and it will immediately stabilize and hover safely.

Powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor and controlled over Wi-Fi via the user's smartphone, the Hover can shoot 13MP images 4K video on its image stabilizing camera. It can hover at a height of 164 feet, shoot 360 degree panorama shots and follow a subject around using facial recognition.

Due to its carbon fibre construction, the drone weighs less than 250 grams. When you're not using it, the drone folds up into roughly the size of a book.
